Solution for PC Audio -> Wireless > Home Stereo?

Anyone know of a some cheap magic boxes that would allow me to stream audio from my PC to my home stereo without running any wires? I imagine one box would plug into my current soundcard and the other box would just plug into my stereo. This is my preferred solution so that I can use all the features of the soundcard. Alternatively, it could just emulate a soundcard on my PC and use WiFi to do the transmission to the box connected to the stereo. I guess another possibility would be for the box on the PC to be a USB device.

My goal is to remote the output of music applications and things like Internet radio to my home stereo in the next room.

Gravatar If its internet radio and music playback you're after then any number of Digital Media Players will do it nicely. I've just bought a Roku M1000 (www.rokulabs.com). The value add here is you can control what you stream from the terminal device. The limit is only playbacl of live streams and files on disk.

I've not seen anything that sits at the soundcard layer, but you can buy cheap RF audio streamers from Maplins and the like which should do that job.
