Microsoft Outlook Repair

Well I'm stymied by this. I am constantly having to repair my installation of Microsoft Outlook 2003. I can repair it one day and use it fine. I can even reboot that day without having to repair. However when I boot it up the next day, I am often faced with Outlook not working. It won't even launch in it's own "Safe Mode". So again, I have to repair it. Sometimes, even repairing won't work and I have to roll back to a previous restore point!

I suspect there's some other program killing one of the dll's or registry entries it depends on by I don't know of a good tool to easily track down and compare the dll's dependencies and take snap shots of what's on my disk. I'm up-to-date with service packs and patches and haven't found anything useful in the support knowledge base.

So if you know of a good tool, please let me know. It's getting to the point that I'm going to have to track down what's causing this.

Gravatar I must admit to being more impressed for it. I've even recommended it to all my friends.

Gravatar Still trying to figure this out.

I've discovered that just by rebooting the machine, the problem fixes itself!!

Today, I got the error "The procedure entry point 3[]StngFromCLSID could not be located in the dynamic link library ole32.dll"

Gravatar There is a program, repair MS Outlook files and do more than-repairing outlook express, recovering Outlook Express folders, it is really important to stick to the sequence of actions specified in the description of the dbx recovery process and closely follow the recovery instructions, recovering corrupted Outlook Express folders, extract all messages that should be recovered from the dbx repair file, for example, the file named Send Items.dbx stores messages from the Send Items folder in Outlook Express, supports files of the .dbx format for Outlook Express versions 5, 5.5 and 6.
